Through the transparency and shadows created by the sculpture I wanted to explore the ghost-like qualities of the dress and the absent wearer. Photography seemed to be the ideal medium and this lead on to a project with the photographer Pamela Messina. We therefore have a series of photographic images and the original sculptures.
